VEHICLE WRAP REMOVAL
Vinyl graphics have an expected life of 1-2 years for non-vertical applications and 3-5 years for vertical applications. Graphics that are left on longer than noted above are prone to have damage occur prior to and during the removal process.
FAQ’S
HOW LONG WILL MY WRAP LAST?
Typically our vehicle wraps will last between 3-5 years with proper care. When you pick up your vehicle our team will walk you through the proper way to care for your new wrap to ensure you get the most out of your investment. Interior graphics including wraps and other elements will last indefinitely. Graphics that are subjected to weather and sunlight outside tend to last between one and five years
CAN A WRAP BE REMOVED
Yes. Our vehicle wraps are printed on vinyl with advanced adhesive technology that allows our team of expert installers to safely remove the design without damaging the surface.
HOW CAN I CARE FOR MY WRAP?
It is best to carefully hand wash your wrapped vehicle. In general, try to avoid power washing and/or hard brush washing. When you pick up your vehicle a team member will provide you with a Wrap + Care kit that you can refer to once you leave.
WHAT CAN YOU WRAP?
What can’t we wrap? We’ve wrapped tour buses, airplanes, RV’s, boats, storefront windows, office space environments, floors, counter-tops buildings, luggage and just about anything else you can think of. If you want it wrapped, give us a call! We can probably do it.
CAN I SEE THROUGH WRAPPED WINDOWS?
We have different options for wrapping windows that range from being able to see through the inside perfectly using perforated window film, to block-out using solid vinyl. We can even wrap windows using an etched glass film to achieve a high-end look.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO INSTALL A VEHICLE WRAP?
This varies per vehicle. We will typically ask for the vehicle to be in our hands for 48 hours. The installation itself usually will not take that long, but this allows us some leeway in scheduling while also ensuring that the client is not without their vehicle for long periods.
WHAT HAPPENS IF MY WRAP GETS DAMAGED?
We keep all artwork indefinitely. In the unfortunate event of an accident, we can reprint any portion necessary but do keep in mind, that due to aging, colors may not match perfectly for the reprinted piece/section.
CAN A WRAP COVER MY BAD PAINT JOB?
Yes and no. The wrapping material is opaque and as such will hide a faded paint job however, any surface flaws (rough paint, rock chips, etc) will show up once the wrap is applied. Essentially if you can feel an imperfection with your fingers, it will most likely be apparent once the wrap is on the vehicle. Note that our wraps can not be warrantied over bad paint/surfaces.
CAN I USE THE CAR WASH
Colorado Signs recommends hand washing your vehicle every two weeks by hand. Automatic car washes may damage the wrap and would void the warranty.
CAN I USE THE REAR WINDOW WIPER IF I HAVE WINDOW PERF ON MY VEHICLE?
No. Any windows with perf applied should not have wipers used.
WHAT MATERIALS DO YOU USE?
Every job is different based on needs. Please contact us to find out how we can help you build your business!
HOW LONG DO BANNERS LAST?
Banners are meant as a temporary signage solution. Depending on usage and placement (indoors vs outdoors), you can get anywhere from a few weeks to several years of use from a banner.
